Oh what utter joy. What genuinely astonishing football.

To quote another blogger, "I can't do justice with words". This was a game where some of the finest football ever to grace the Emirates Stadium was on display and breathtaking scintillating movements down and up the pitch by the Gunners just tore apart the hapless Czechs. The Champions League scoreline record was equalled by this terrific performance and Theo and Cesc put in suitably excellent displays themselves. It's also not hard to see why Hleb has been affectionately dubbed "The White Ronaldinho" in some corners of the Emirates and Arsene aptly said this: "We just remind everybody that two months ago I was crazy not to buy players and we were not even rated to be in the top seven. We have no reason to be carried away, because exactly the same people who will now say we can win the European Cup said we would finish 15th two months ago. We have to be realistic and just prepare for the next game and show we can win it."

With hotshot Robin van Persie out injured, Theo was pushed forward in a more attacking role as he was deemed ready to be used in that manner and by golly, what a firecracker he was. His electric pace and exquisite close control had the Czech defence looking like stone gargoyles and the best thing of the night? His first ever Champions League goal! 2 goals and setting up another is absoeffinglutely sweet as they will do him heaps of good in terms of his confidence and development as a player. Cesc scored a real beauty of a goal in the 5th minute and notched up his 8th and 9th goals of the season.
The 6th was the pick of the bunch though. If ever a goal summed up a football team it was this one. From a Slavia corner the ball was headed clear and Hleb took it on and drove into their half, played it to Adebayor who turned inside, passed to Theo who dinked a beautiful little pass into the path of Cesc, who had run the length of the pitch, and he stroked it home. It was a thing of beauty. If you could paint it it would hang in the Louvre for generations and people would never tire of looking at it. There are very few teams in the world that can score goals like that and I'm lucky enough that the team I support is one of them. On another note, massive game ahead this weekend on Sunday. We will be travelling to Anfield to face the Kop of Liverpool. Oh boy, I can hardly wait.

Cesc starts the rout

Theo makes it 3-0

The goals just keep flowing

And its 5-0!

Hey you with that crafty little smile
won't you come over
Cause all I can see is through your green eyes
and thats not enough

I know that your not used to this
And you'll probably make a dash for it

But hey whats the rush?
It's only the start
Of something that you and me
Will never come to understand.

Very Simply Titled: Photography

Every time a picture is taken
abit of the world is captured
alongside the people and objects
that were the focal point of interest.

Every time a picture is looked at
something in your mind reconnects
to the past and brings you back
to when it all happened.

It's mind blowing hey
how much a picture can express
or convey in so many ways
words cant.

So when random pictures
are chanced upon
random reasons why there were taken
are remembered
and emotions rekindled.
