I can say i have a blog now

Oh by golly im blogging.
How cool is that.
Haven't attempted to maintain one in years and hopefully this doesn't go that way.
Well let's see.
Firstly I'm in the land down under currently for studies and am in this hole called Ourimbah.
Not a sucky hole in that sense but a hole cause it's kinda tucked away in a corner of NSW
on the Central Coast and not many people know where it is.
Well what a far cry from them city days back home where everything was dusty and frenetic
and a 20mins drive could land you in the midst of gleaming skyscrapers or massive malls with
heaps to see and do in a city sense.
Over here it's just quite the complete opposite with beaches and bushland everywhere and greenery as far as the eye can see. You could say that that sounds pretty boring and initially thats what i thought as well considering me being a city boy and all.
But as the weeks go by you just start to appreciate the quietness and subtle wonder this place has to offer as it's just a stark difference to what your comfort zone was before this and somehow that's what makes it all the more endearing.
Ok enough bout that.

Snow Patrol is coming and so are the Killers.
Me being a music buff/muso head and all probably means that this blog would be filled
with musical stuff (if it doesn't die a slow death in cyberspace that is) and my other passion footy. Best mate Steppah is flying all the way to Syd to experience SP alongside me and Maheer would be my company at the Killers.
I'm so excited.

Oh and the other day at Focus i met this Korean dude from the states who has seen Death Cab live 5 times and Rilo Kiley once.
How bleedingly brilliant is that.
That shows I'm not the only asian kid who appreciates indie music especially in terms of Rilo.
Heck no one bloody knows them and I'm surprised at the whites here as well cause you know they are supposedly more exposed and all and embrace art more readily.

The full eclipse of the moon last night was pretty spectacular albeit the fact that it can never be in the same class of a sun eclipse in terms of grandeur. Blood red and concealed the moon was and it stayed that way for about an hour. The next time we would ever get to see something like that again would be on the 11th of December 2011 apparently.

Oh well library's closing so I'll head off now.
Cheers
